온라인 뉴스에서 구제역의 경제적·환경적·정책적 파급효과가 어떻게 보도되는지 분석하는 텍스트 마이닝 방법이다. 뉴스의 명사를 정제한 뒤 LDA로 대표 키워드를 추출하고, 동시출현 네트워크와 타임라인으로 이슈의 연결과 변화를 탐색한다. 2010년 7월부터 2011년 12월까지의 국내 뉴스에 적용해 발생 초기·심각기·종식 이후의 보도 양상을 비교했다. 경제 관련 이슈가 전 기간에 나타나고 정책 관련 이슈가 심각기에 집중되는 경향을 확인했으며, 결과는 뉴스에 나타난 관심과 연관성을 해석한 것이다.

This study uses online news to examine the economic, environmental, and policy-related repercussions reported during a foot-and-mouth disease outbreak. After noun extraction and filtering, latent Dirichlet allocation identifies representative keywords, which are organized into co-occurrence networks and temporal network views. Korean news from July 2010 through December 2011 is compared across early-outbreak, severe-outbreak, and post-outbreak periods. Economic themes persist across periods, while policy-response themes become prominent during the severe phase. The framework provides an exploratory account of reported issues and their associations, rather than a direct measurement of economic losses or policy effectiveness.
